In 2012 with AGB Creative, I directed the 3D mapped projection, lighting and the live show elements for Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. This event signaled the launching the OZ Fest series of events across India during their three month festival season. This cultural exchange was held in Delhi with projection mapping onto the circumference of the Sher Mandal observatory tower built for the Mugal Emperor Humayun in 1556.
Performers included Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu with his band, Anoushka Shankar. The evening starting with a performance of the digeridoo by Mark Atkins, this was a remarkable experience as the local audience had rearly heard these tones before and the audience was spellbound. This was the first of over 100 cultural events programmed by DFAT to be performed throughout India’s festival season.
