This immersive exhibition was first presented at the National Library in Canberra, thereafter the 20m long screens were packed up and it premiered as the first Australian exhibition at the Smithsonian in Washington DC. A brainchild of Anthony Bastic at AGB, Beauty Rich and Rare took a look into the world about the first voyage by James Cook. This journey was seen through the eyes of Sir Joseph Banks and over 20mins the carefully crafted animation guided the audience through the experience with beautiful imagery, much of which were sourced from the artists onboard the voyage.
